What does one do when garden need some fertiliser?
An option which proved to provide large amounts of all sorts of good nutrients showed to a trip to Håkøya. Many people have horses, and the sea washes up quite some algae. With the help of our avalanche-shovels (little flat shovels are much better suited for picking horse-feces than garden-shovels) we filled up a few boxes with fertilisers of great quality. This trip will certainly be repeated next year, (maybe even with larger containers to fill up)! This years potatoe-harvest was relatively successful - so tonight we can enjoy bacalao - http://www.godfisk.no/Oppskrifter/Norge/Bacalao- of our own potatoes - but I have great faith in better harvest next year.
