Today it feels it was especially useful to go to school. To make and present a clear, elegant and interesting presentation, arts, mother tongue (and English) are quite useful. To understand background of a specific multivariate factor analysis and how to use it in a different way it cannot harm to have had some maths.
It is nice to try work on the limits of ones current brain capacity :) Which is probably part of why science is interesting and fun. As long as it is not necessary to work way beyond it...
