Virve invited me to stay with her and her two sons for a couple of days. Some action created by small people around is just what I needed to cheer me up after Arnå left and I stayed behind being sick. Some days reading (Im trying to read for an exam but...), chatting (science and non-science, mostly the last one), small walks, playing with children, eating, taking naps and all that have done good. Evenings with wind and slush outside - the coach with Gustav the cat, books and tea has been perfectly cosy.
Kattfjord is not far from Tromsø, but outer side of Kvaløya is quite different; countryside, and ocean is just around the corner. A reasonable person would maybe not collect as large items as those orange plastic balls that are used to float trawls or other large items... but as I found none of the cool old glass-ones "kavvel" på norsk... maybe one can try to find use for these as well?? Or throw them out when the space really becomes limiting resource at home...
