Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan, shore... the village reminded a lot those along the north shores of Varangerfjorden, with the flat open shores. But further in grows spruceforest very similar to Kuusamo and Saariselkä, I was all the time expecting to see a bear arrive at the edges of mires...

Two weeks "holidays" at whale research station is over, faster than necessary, and now we are back to Rimouski, where autumn starts to come and certain PhD-projects await to be worked on... Still, it was good to feel like coming home :) In spite of traveling here and there and back and forth, I actually enjoy a lot the feeling of belonging somewhere. And, it is good to have a home together :)
