Putin

In a food program on CBC-radio (like BBC but in Canada;), they told that no genuine Canadian cuisine exists, except maybe "putine". Originally from Quebec, this dish has french fries, tasteless cheese and gravy sauce (from a bag, according to the original recipe). Sounds totally horrible. And looks... After hearing about this from my quebequois friends in Tromsø for a while, I finally tasted an original version, and... hmmm... well... I can see why to eat this at four in the morning when you are drunk. It did not quite as I had expected, Norwegian version of "brunsaus fra pose" is even more artificial than this gravy sauce. But still. One of the things that one doesnt have to try again. Huhpuh!
